Angry Birds Go! Model Ripping Help - KaraszKun - 12-12-2013 Ever since the release, I decided to extract some files from the app so I could rip models from the game. But apparently, like most games, getting the models from Angry Birds Go! is difficult. There are pak files included from the game that contains meshes, textures, and animation files for most characters in the game ranging from the birds to pigs. The problem with the pak file is that they're encrypted differently and it would be almost impossible to extract models from the pak files. I learned that the game is powered by the Exient engine, which I'm not familiar with at all until now. So apparently I would call them "Exient XGS Pak" files. If anyone has a good tool or two that will help me extract the models from the pak files, I would humbly appreciate that. Oh, and by the way, the game itself is free, but it's one of those games where you need to buy in-game currency to upgrade your soapbox car. RE: Angry Birds Go! Model Ripping Help - Random Talking Bush - 12-17-2013 I've begun to extract the models from that game. Thankfully it was an easy-to-understand model format, so it only took me about an hour and a half to figure out how to export them. (More than I can say about those Telltale Games models. Those are absurd in spots.) |
