The end of Japanese Whaling - E-Man - 03-31-2014 http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/world/2014/03/31/japan-whaling-world-court/7104633/ After all those years of hunting whales for the sake of "science," it finally catches up to Japan. I didn't read the article fully, but it might suggest that there might be just a little more whaling; however, the good news is that Japan has agreed to use non-leathle means of studying the aquatic mammals. Any thoughts on this? RE: The end of Japanese Whaling - daemoth - 03-31-2014 RE: The end of Japanese Whaling - [robo9] - 03-31-2014 I don't see what the big deal is. Whales and dolphins were the ones that dropped the atomic bomb on them during WWII RE: The end of Japanese Whaling - psychospacecow - 03-31-2014 I really hope this is actually respected considering Japan's history in such matters to disregard international law. |
