A general thread for neat hardware we can't quite get our hands on!

I don't wanna prevent people from making threads dedicated to specific gadgets, so I'll lay down some rules about which tech we're talking about:
- Tech that has been announced/confirmed
- Tech that is in alpha or beta
- Tech that is not yet available outside of select markets
- Tech on Kickstarter or Indiegogo (Post here if you want to talk about the funding campaign)




I've been ogling the Android phones that 小米 (Xiǎomǐ) has been selling in China for while now, but now they have an upgraded 紅米 (Hóngmǐ) phone and I need it.
