This joke project's story is really weird and complex, so I'll do my best at
explaining it.

All the elements in this project was planned in a chat with tSR people I
frequent, and they were all originated because of random jokes that... were
taken seriously by me.

First of all, I need to explain the 'genderbent' version of Gilbert. I designed
her after people saying that I 'wasn't anime enough to watch anime' with them.
I promptly responded with a sketch of gilbert with twintails, which caused some
hilarious reaction and ended up becoming a running gag of the chat.

The genderbent Gilbert didn't have a fixed name, so people referred her as
'Girls', 'Girlsal', 'Girlbert' and other stuff. I thought that those names were
dumb, so I settled up with 'Arisa' as her name. (Being an anime girl version
of Gilbert, nothing more appropriate than naming her after a series of Japanese
rifles and ammo cartridges, Arisaka). I also placed her definitely in the
Bullethead cast as Gilbert's manga-loving, 'tsundere' sister.

This new name spawned some Touhou jokes (Arisa being just one letter far from
Marisa). Sploder even went as far as drawing her and the whole chat's reference
characters with Touhou clothes. This served as the base to make Super Arisa Land,
a parody of the Touhou fangame Super Marisa Land.

At the same time, Sengir has told us a very... peculiar dream I'll spare you the
details from, and that caused more jokes to surface. Then, we noticed that
Sengir wasn't 'moe' enough for the chat, so with the members' help, I created
Sengi~, the girl version of Sengirbug. Naturally, she got paired with Arisa and
eventually, this joke project was born.

Super Arisa World is a parody game, referencing not only Mario, but several other
classic games and TSR jokes. Playing as a familiar platformer game, but with
several quirks and gameplay differences, in order to make this a new, fresh
experience, Super Arisa World aims to entertain the gamers with colorful, fun
graphics with cute cartoony characters and happy music.

Everyone lived in peace in TSROPOLIS. But for this game to happen, something
bad was needed. So, Vipershark started kidnapping all girls from the city.

For an even unexpainable reason, Crappy Blue Luigi is the only one who knows
about this tragedy, and promptly asks Gors and Sengir, the local heroes,
for help.

Sadly, a game starring both Gors and Sengir would be so radular and the world
wouldn't be ready for such awesomeness. So they had to come up with lousy
excuses such as "I'm studying Mandarin" and "I'm too busy spriting". Crappy Blue
Luigi then shrugs, and wonders who could bring back peace in the spriter's land.

"Crap... Who is going to save tSR now..."

He then hears some happy chatter. It was Arisa and Sengi~, taking a walk without
knowing they were in danger.

"Arisa! Help us! Vipershark has kidnapped all the imoutos in tSR! Please save
them from being transformed into dakimakuras..." - Crappy Blue Luigi

I have no idea why he didn't mention Sengi~ in that line, but nevertheless,
both girls decided to kick Vipershark's butt and save the captive girls from
his clutches...

The game is set in the fictional city of TSROPOLIS, ruled by Dazz, the Mayor.
Many people from different countries live there, developing the city further.

The city has a Maid Café run by Kagguya. However, it's in the verge of
closing due to lack of customers, which worries her a lot.

The city is surrounded by green plains and icy mountains, and an imponent,
floating castle serves as Vipershark's hideout. There, he plots on transforming
all the girls into body pillows.

It's said that a Legendary Hero used to protect the city, but she has not
been active since Vipershark's attacks... Where would she be?

The cast is varied and represents the forum users. Some of the characters in
this game are:

> ARISA BULLETHEAD



A shy and introverted, green bullet girl. Despite that, she is Sengi~'s best
friend. She decides to save TSROPOLIS from Vipershark's clutches, after Crappy
Blue Luigi told her and Sengi~ about the crisis. She loves manga and will do
anything to get ahold of them, and because of that she can act really rude at
times. However, she really cares about her friends.

> SENGI~ BUG



A happy and cheerful female pink beetle with bright blue hair, with a sidetail
tied with a white bow. She loves spending time with her friend, Arisa, and
likes listening to poppy, cute music and eating sweets. Due to her air-headed
nature, she is prone to accidents and forgetting important stuff, a trait that
makes her get bad grades at the school. Nonetheless, she tries hard to keep up
with the school pace and be friends with everyone.

> GILBERT BULLETHEAD



Arisa's brother, a green bullet that wears a brown leather jacket. Usually
nonchalant, but does his job of taking care of TSROPOLIS at the town hall
quite well. Manages events and destroys ad-bots in his free time. Hopes to do
more for the community, but he is always balancing responsibilities with tired-
ness.

> SENGIR 'CHUCK' BUG



Sengi~'s brother. Also takes care of the city, but would rather spend time
studying anthropology and programming small apps. Doesn't talk much, but when
he does, it usually is to crack a pun into the conversation. Enjoys listening
to Bob Dylan.

> CRAPPY BLUE LUIGI



The man in blue. Gilbert's musical bro, gifted with smooth moves and even
smoother talk. He left the city some time ago, but returned only to see the
city having many cases of kidnapping. He soon seeks for help.

> SERENNA KAGGUYA MUTSUKKI



A pretty, shy and clumsy maid that runs a Maid Café in the town. She loves her
little brother and does everything to him. Due to her clumsiness, she often gets
into trouble... Her speciality is making sweets.

> VIPERSHARK



The antagonist of this game. A sick fiend who enjoys trapping pretty girls
for his amusement. He intends to transform them all into dakimakuras for his
evergrowing collection. A huge otaku, it is said that half of the rooms in his
enormous castle is to store and organize his anime-related merchandise.

> BELLE LEBEL



A yellow bullet girl with a strong sense of justice. Hailing from The Schools
Resource's rival school, intends to save the city by herself so she can get
all the praise. Often overlooked and mistaken by others as Arisa, she wants to
show everyone that she is capable of doing great things. Highly athletic, her
moves are alluring and precise, making her a formidable rival for Arisa.

> MISA RILLE



A German missile girl with white skin and blonde hair in twin braids. Also
studies in Royal Arsenal High, and is Belle's classmate and friend. Misa is
gentle and sweet... Until someone ticks her off. If she gets annoyed or doesn't
get what she wants, she gets extremely rude and literally explodes in anger,
burning anything around her. Thus, she is kinda spoiled and stubborn.

Control Arisa, Sengi~ and Belle through levels full of platforming action, jumping and defeating monsters!

BASIC OPERATIONS

> RUNNING



Walking is quintessential actions for a platformer and here, you do that by pressing LEFT or RIGHT. Running is done by doubletapping the button. Every character has its walking/running speed, so pay attention!

> JUMPING



Press Z to jump. Tapping it will result in a short hop. Jumping after a run will make the character reach a bit higher and farther than a normal walking jump.

> CROUCHING



Press DOWN to crouch and protect yourself from projectiles.

> CARRYING AN ITEM



When on top of a carriable item, press X once to hold it. You can walk and jump while holding something. Press X again to kick it forward. Pressing DOWN or UP when kicking the item will throw it upwards or put it on the ground, respectively.

CHARACTER SPECIFIC ACTIONS

> CHARGE JUMP



As Arisa, press DOWN on the arrow keys to charge power, and jump to perform a Charge Jump. This jump reaches higher than a running jump, and will break blocks and kill small enemies. Walking while charges will discharge Arisa.

> DOUBLEJUMP



As Sengi~, press Z in mid-air to perform a Doublejump. This will help reaching tough areas and have more air control than other characters.

> BULLET DASH



As Belle, press X while running to perform a Bullet Dash. This propels her forward quickly, destroying any blocks and small enemies that she touches. There's a cooldown time you need to wait to do it again.

> L'ARC-EN-CIEL KICK



As Belle, press UP and Z while running to do an airborne arched kick, destroying any blocks and small enemies that she touches. Her body is still vulnerable, though, so pay attention!

> SCREW JUMP



As Belle, press DOWN and Z at any time to perform a Screw Jump. This propels her upward in an angle, destroying any blocks and small enemies that she touches. Can only be done on ground!

POWERUPS

> NEKOMIMI



Throw furballs to defeat enemies when you are in Nekomimi mode!

> MAID



Perform melee attacks with your duster while as Maid mode!

> VIPER



Those high-tech suits allow you to shoot guns and lasers, while increasing air mobility!

You know that naming a character with an obvious noun is dumb: see 'Girlsal'. A good reference is in its subtlety, so together with Mutsukki, we made up a new name for Maidsukki. Say hello to Serenna Kagguya Mutsukki (you can call her 'Kagguya')!

Serena is Greek for 'moon', a common motif in Mutsukki family (Mutsuki itself is Old Japanese for 'January', literally 'Harmonious Moon'). Also, Serena means 'calm', which describes her perfectly.

Kagguya comes from the mythical Moon Princess's name meaning 'Shiny Night', referencing her beauty and the moon motif yet again.

The doubled consonant in both names are for stylistic and esthetical purposes.

Thus, 'Mutsukki' was retconned to be the family's surname: Serenna Kagguya Mutsukki for 'Maidsukki' and Luiggi Mutsukki for 'Mutsukki'.

Also, as an additional info, she thinks that her name is unnecessarily long and cumbersome to write.
