Can't find DS Sprite Files - Kurabupengin - 10-06-2014 Ok, so heres a problem while trying to extract the files from the Club Penguin DS games with Tinke or other tools like that. There are some files that are .arc (NOT BrawlBox Related) format and others in .bin format (Where there is all the sound). The only files I could view are the DGamer files, but... NO, I DON'T WANT THAT SHIT. I simply can't view the files from the actual game and that is so annoying that I just can't find an actual easy way to extract them. RE: Can't find DS Sprite Files - Mystie - 10-06-2014 Not every game uses the system's standard file system(s). RE: Can't find DS Sprite Files - eureka - 10-06-2014 Hm. For the Bin Files, You can decompress them I believe. What you have to do Is Click on one. If it has a little symbol on it, It should be decompressable. Dunno about .arc files tho. Sorry for double post but can you PM Me the ROM Please? RE: Can't find DS Sprite Files - eureka - 10-07-2014 I might have some progress. I'm not having much luck with the models (Due to me really just not being to familiar with ripping NSMBD) But I got What I guess is an Icon. I'll work on the rest later tomorrow. Any help would be appreciated, considering I haven't played the game before. ALSO: The game uses the NITRO File Format, Those are really just four files that work together. All of them are compressed though so that's a problem. http://imgur.com/gZh78FZ RE: Can't find DS Sprite Files - Shade - 10-07-2014 (10-07-2014, 10:34 PM)nateismyname Wrote: I might have some progress. That's about as far as I got, and it's not all that reassuring, unfortunately. Usually the game's icon is pretty simple to get, and I haven't really got around to digging into the .bin archives much. RE: Can't find DS Sprite Files - eureka - 10-08-2014 Well, these are interesting. From what I saw the Pallete files are Bizarre because they some the EXACT SAME THING. It's real weird. http://imgur.com/ http://imgur.com/FOBiqoa http://imgur.com/nhA05OR RE: Can't find DS Sprite Files - Ploaj - 10-08-2014 If it helps, the fs.arc has pointers in the beginning that leads to the files. A lot appear to be models, but there are images too. RE: Can't find DS Sprite Files - Kurabupengin - 10-08-2014 This will be really complicated. By using the GLIntercept method (which is not so cormfortable at all), I managed to rip very few sprites from the games, but they look like this when ripped: As you can see, getting them will be a hard job. If you want to help me out with this, go to this thread. I'll really appreciate it if you do. RE: Can't find DS Sprite Files - eureka - 10-08-2014 Huh. Nice Job! As far as the lines under the Penguin with the coat on, Try making the image larger until they line up perfectly. That always works for me. But Nice Job Overall! |
