Son of a Glitch! - ~Axis~ - 12-29-2014 I've noticed that many games have glitches and that some of them can be repeated and are rather amusing. What glitches have you guys found? I remember quite some time ago as a kid that my cousins and I used to play Super Mario Bros. and there was this glitch where in world 1-2 near the end at the pipe as big mario, you jump on the pipe and without breaking the block at the very edge, you duck and jump backwards "into" it and it pushes you into the extra world selection area except it just barely shows you a single pipe. You jump into it and it sends you to world -1! That level is impossible to beat for some reason. RE: Son of a Glitch! - Paladin - 12-29-2014 In Twilight Princess, I discovered a glitch by accident. In the first temple, there's a room full of bridges that rotate if you use the Gale Boomerang on them. If you use the boomerang, then roll into the bridge, you can clip through the fences on it. Not overly exciting, but kinda funny. A more obvious one, as I think it might happen to anyone, is a glitch in Radiant Dawn. On the bridge chapter during part 3, three of the enemy snipers promoted into marksmen and used Shinon's model. RE: Son of a Glitch! - E-Man - 12-29-2014 Long before I even knew how to browse the Internet, I discovered a glitch involving the castle tower in Super Mario 64. With the help of the Wing Cap and the cannon you'll get access to after collecting 120 Power Stars, fly to the central tower and land on the bit of roof on the lower tier. Not only is it possible to get to the top of the tower this way (just run up the left wall), but also you'll be able to clip right through it. If you force Mario to press against the walls (in particular, the diagonal ones), you'll fall clean through the tower and end up in a room inside the castle behind the main doors. On top of that, if you enter the doors from this room, you'll end up inside that actual interior of the castle, but you'll end up in another room similar to the one you are in before. Simply jumping at the wall that borders the door in this new room will return you to the actual playing area. I wouldn't be surprised if you guys know about this glitch already. RE: Son of a Glitch! - Kriven - 12-29-2014 The new Pac-Man game for Wii U (the Ghostly Adventures?) likes to lock up whenever I die... So I haven't really progressed... RE: Son of a Glitch! - AuraLancer - 12-29-2014 On launch day for Brawl I was playing as Ness and got hit by Dedede's FSmash while charging a DSmash and Ness had his yoyo out for the rest of the stock. The Yoyo even had proper physics. Both it and the string acted like you would think from Ness running and jumping around. I never could replicate that though. RE: Son of a Glitch! - Shade - 12-29-2014 So I was playing Sonic Boom and... RE: Son of a Glitch! - Kriven - 12-29-2014 I was going through the Classic Mode in SSB4WU earlier as Marth, and had managed to get to Master Hand on 9.0. He beat me with Master Beast, so I chose "continue" and kept on fighting at 8.5 difficulty. Master Hand and Crazy Hand were performing that juggling attack, with the purple energy balls? They had already finished the volley of small balls and had unleashed one of the larger balls. Master Hand flicked it at me, Crazy Hand was forming one, I jumped off the stage and hit Crazy with a forward aerial just as he was about to toss the ball. My attack connected, and it turned out to be the last attack the Hands could take before transforming. As soon as I hit Crazy, Master Hand struck a bizarre pose, flew to the middle of the stage, and stayed in that pose for at least half a minute before finally transforming. RE: Son of a Glitch! - Koh - 12-29-2014 I did a whole video on exploiting a single glitch that opens up a million others in the original version of Link's Awakening. |
