Low-poly Pixel Art?! Whut [Art] - LeleleleMAXIMUM - 10-20-2008 I don't know what you call 'em, but I finally tried one. After a few hours(yey, frustration) of fiddling in Anim8or and UV Mapper, here it is. I wanted to start simple. Made a lot of mistakes; I edited that model and that texture about 6 times and still somehow didn't get it quite right. Next time, I'll try shading the sides too. Pretty fun learning experience. Will definitely do more. I'm thinking Ness. RE: Low-poly Pixel Art?! Whut - Geo the Fox - 10-20-2008 I don't get it, but it looks pretty uh.. interesting. RE: Low-poly Pixel Art?! Whut - mozzy - 10-20-2008 I've ALWAYS wanted to know how to do this. I really want to learn how. RE: Low-poly Pixel Art?! Whut - Alpha Six - 10-20-2008 the textures remind me a lot of Mega Man Legends RE: Low-poly Pixel Art?! Whut - LeleleleMAXIMUM - 10-20-2008 mozzy: tbh, I haven't got the process down yet. Lots of trial and error. The colors you see on the renders aren't the colors I used in the bmp file. Meaning there's still some lighting messing with my colors. And I don't know how to manage the edges. But if you want, I can make a tutorial? |
