Ripping help? - Henomura - 04-15-2015 Hello guys. I have recently played the PSP version of Final Fantasy IV: Complete Collection and admired the new sprite designs of the game. I seen threads of people ripped the game sprites before but has anyone also ripped the other sprites of the game besides the usual Battle Sprites? For an example, the world sprites of Cecil, Golbez, Rosa. Cagnazzo sprite, etc. How would one go about in trying to rip these sprites? RE: Ripping help? - daemoth - 04-15-2015 Try out Glintercept, its creates files of what is in the ram and its pretty easy to use: http://spritedatabase.net/tutorial_ds.php Just put the file in your emulator folder, edit gliconfig to modify the settings. I continue to read, browse, and learn how to "try" and rip the sprites for the PSP version. I managed to open the BIN files of the game but seem to cannot view the formats of .lzs files and tm2. Anyone know about this? RE: Ripping help? - daemoth - 04-15-2015 Hmm, heres the download link for GlIntercept. RE: Ripping help? - Henomura - 04-15-2015 Thanks. The Glintercept does work with the link you provided. The game runs slow but it does rip the images out. Many images can pile up but I can delete unnecessary images. Thanks friend! RE: Ripping help? - daemoth - 04-15-2015 If you want to rip an animation, keep it as is, but if you want to capture just a single image, you can set the option OneFrameOnly to true of the gliconfig file. For example: Code: LogPerFrame |
