The Simpsons - Tapped Out RGB Files - supersmashball - 07-02-2015 Hi, is someone able to convert these to PNGs or something? (Like make a converter program? ) I found these in the data files by extracting the '1' file in the assets folder. And apparently, my version of WinRAR is so good, that it compressed EVERYTHING in that folder (160mb in total), into a 8.80mb archive! Less space used for me, then! Download link: http://s000.tinyupload.com/?file_id=01016699579658881914 Any help is appreciated! RE: The Simpsons - Tapped Out RGB Files - Ploaj - 07-02-2015 It's raw pixel data. Looks like how most pipelines store it. (No wonder it can be compressed so much) Like last time, you can drop the rgb files on here and it will export a png. Edit: Fixed it :p The color order was wrong. http://s000.tinyupload.com/index.php?file_id=86532982372494958585 RE: The Simpsons - Tapped Out RGB Files - supersmashball - 07-02-2015 Wow...that was quick. Testing it right now.....and it works! Thanks! The only thing wrong is, when it outputs to PNG, the colors, (Not black or white), come out inverted. All I do to fix that is just up the hue to max. Then there's ANOTHER problem. The yellow parts come out red! Simple fix: just select the color, (preferably their skin), and set the hue to +30. Problem solved. But are you able to make a fixed version? (BTW, I'm using SAI.) RE: The Simpsons - Tapped Out RGB Files - Daxar - 07-02-2015 Here you go: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/31816885/junk/simsonsRGB.zip It was just basically raw pixel data with width/height before (hence compressing it really cut down on file size, as you saw). With files that compress crazy well like that, it's probably worth opening in a hex editor to see if there's repeating patterns (even if you don't know much about hex editing), or going someplace like http://rawpixels.net/ just to see if you can figure it out yourself. But hey, no biggie. EDIT: aaand Ploaj beat me to it. But yeah, simple format. RE: The Simpsons - Tapped Out RGB Files - supersmashball - 07-02-2015 The program does not work correctly. When I drag one over the program, it says 'Saving: 'Filename'.png, yet no PNG is exported. RE: The Simpsons - Tapped Out RGB Files - Ploaj - 07-02-2015 Are you using the fixed one? RE: The Simpsons - Tapped Out RGB Files - supersmashball - 07-02-2015 Sorry, I was talking about Daxar's version. RE: The Simpsons - Tapped Out RGB Files - Daxar - 07-02-2015 Works fine for me. You might need the .rgb files and the executable in the same folder. RE: The Simpsons - Tapped Out RGB Files - supersmashball - 07-02-2015 I tried that. Still nothing. I'm gonna get it when I get back on my computer again. (Currently on my phone.) RE: The Simpsons - Tapped Out RGB Files - Daxar - 07-02-2015 Hmm, weird. If it still doesn't work, just use Ploaj's one I guess. RE: The Simpsons - Tapped Out RGB Files - supersmashball - 07-02-2015 Alright. Back on PC, downloading it. Did exactly as you said. Nothing. It's weird that nothing works right (in life.). Are you also able to check out my Mario & Sonic Olympics XAP file thread? RE: The Simpsons - Tapped Out RGB Files - EL_BARTO - 09-06-2015 how to convert png to rgb?
