.cvs audio file conversion? - Catacomb82 - 07-26-2015 Two games I have, The Emperor's New Groove and Aladdin in Nasira's Revenge, store all of the dialogue spoken by the characters in .cvs files. There's only one .cvs file for each game. Importing the raw data into Audacity gives intensely loud static noise, although I can still recognize the game dialogue underneath it. I feel like I'm doing this wrong, can anyone help? RE: .cvs audio file conversion? - Struggleton! - 07-27-2015 Could you upload some samples, please? Sure thing, here's the .cvs file for The Emperor's New Groove. https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B-xsrR_GFKvCWVJLb3RtZU9vTmc/view?usp=sharing The file name is called "english" because it's ripped from the English version of the game, btw. RE: .cvs audio file conversion? - Struggleton! - 07-28-2015 This audio is a RAW type of audio. I've tried playing it in MFAudio, but all I get is a sped up compilation of voices. Maybe that's it? Edit: I'm now reading this in 22050, and the sounds are MUCH better. Get MFAudio, set the Frequency to 22050, and you can play the audio. Edit 2: I wrote a crappy extractor for RAW audio, if you'd like it. You can use this on the CVS file and then use MFAudio to play it. It then can be saved to a .WAV file. requires python to run: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ThatOneStruggle/pythonGameScripts/master/raw_file_extract.py or if you don't want to use the script, you can download the extracted sounds here, in all their RAW audio goodness use these settings to get the correct audio files RE: .cvs audio file conversion? - Catacomb82 - 07-28-2015 (07-28-2015, 09:27 AM)ThatTrueStruggle Wrote: This audio is a RAW type of audio. You basically scan a folder then select all the entries and press the convert button. It's very simple. https://www.dropbox.com/s/9v85f3y0vrmq8f0/PSound-1.33.7z?dl=0 |
