Computer hardware question thread - Filler - 09-17-2015 I want to play some games, but I wanna know if my specs are decent enough to run some games on a laptop. Here's my specs: -Windows 8.1 -Intel Pentium duel core 2020M CPU. @2.50GHz -8 GB RAM -Intel HD Graphics 1824 MB of graphics memory 128 MB of dedicated video memory 1696 MB of shared system memory All settings set to the lowest and most optimal 3D settings possible 1366 x 768 screen res -60 Hertz monitor Here's some games I want to run: -Game Dev Tycoon -Shovel Knight -CS:GO -G Mod -Cities: Skylines I'm sorry if a thread like this already exists, but I'm just wondering of such a thing. Also, I feel like this can be a thread for others to ask if they can runs games, so post ahead. RE: Computer hardware question thread - Vipershark - 09-17-2015 That laptop seems more than capable of running all of the games you listed (maybe with the exception of Cities: Skylines but I don't know its specs). You may bot be able to max out the graphics on more intensive games like Gmod for example, but you should be able to run it just fine using lower settings. The 2D games you listed should have no issues. |
