Conker's bad Furday sound ripping - Filler - 10-20-2015 Using the general N64 decompressor, I got a-ton of MP3 audio sounds of the game's voice-acting. Some of them are a bit corrupted, I think? There's a huge library of over 400 + sounds. So there it'll be a bit hard to find any corrupted sounds/voices. In general, samples that use Conker's voice seem to have odd artifacts on them. In-fact, they seemed to be sped-up. Which suggest that the game itself may be able to change pitch and speed of certain parts of voice acting. I would post a zip of all the audio, but it's over the max file limit, as it's around 20+ MB when zipped. RE: Conker's bad Furday sound ripping - Gors - 10-20-2015 You could divide it in smaller parts, or even put them in categories (conker voices, enemy voices, NPC voices etc). As for the samples being high-pitched, it probably is a technique to save cartridge space. A sped up sample has a smaller duration (which means smaller file size) and can be slowed down with effects to restore its intended speed and pitch. RE: Conker's bad Furday sound ripping - Filler - 10-20-2015 I also checked the ECS beta for any sounds, and I found that there's a major sound count boost from each version. -Final game: Around 450 sound samples -ECS beta: around 370 sounds. Whilst digging, I also found some really neat unused sounds that may of been meant for the game menus. Unknown why it was cut. (Zip below) I'm also going to organize and name each sample in my free time, since there's a-lot. RE: Conker's bad Furday sound ripping - Filler - 10-21-2015 Here's some Great Mighty Poo sound rips (NSFW lyrics ahead) Just to note, Conker's voice has some issues in the files, may have to find how to fix them. RE: Conker's bad Furday sound ripping - Filler - 10-22-2015 Guess what? I got all the NSTC voice samples organized and such in a primitive bare format. I think it'll be better to organize everything from each chapter in-game, since once voice sample can be an NPC conversation. Here's a bunch of WIP progress ZIPS. I'll do PAL and ECS beta later. RE: Conker's bad Furday sound ripping - Filler - 10-24-2015 Gregg audio files, just for the Grim Reaper fans of the decade. A-long with the largest space of memory in the game, a music track that should of been MIDI, but was an MP3 sound. RE: Conker's bad Furday sound ripping - Filler - 10-25-2015 The Haybot, along with Don Weasel. I made the Don sound rips have named titles for reasons, I guess? I also put any multiplayer related text with (MULTI) at the end. Had to split it in two parts because too big. RE: Conker's bad Furday sound ripping - Filler - 10-27-2015 I don't have any rips right now, because I'm now re-organizing them. Also a fun fact: These's audio files may of been recorded from Robin Beanland's (If you don't know, he composed the music of Conker) computer, since it's referenced if you look thru the file as a text file. It also shows that they may of been recorded sometime in 2000. TAGuntitled /c:"" /A:"Robin BeanRobin Beanland 2000 All of them are named untitled, sadly. Lazy Rare |
