RE: hello hi - sutinoer - 12-04-2015 Hello and welkome RE: hello hi - jinjotooie - 12-04-2015 i m new RE: hello hi - Kosheh - 12-05-2015 hello. umm how do I put this. i don't like being That Guy but something really needs to be said here See there's a list of rules for the forum, and you're clearly ignoring one of them. (I've even done the convenience of linking you directly to that part of the rules: 1.1 Content Requirements) This isn't facebook, or a chatroom. On forums, it's a generally accepted rule that your posts contain are at least a sentence long (there's no official consensus on what constitutes a sentence, but I think we can all agree on "seven words minimum") You might not think of it as much - and it probably doesn't pertain to you either as it might not've been your intention, but there's a minimum post limit to a certain feature on the forum. It requires 20 posts in order to unlock. But like, the staff WILL actually go back and check if you have substantial posts worthy of meeting that requirement. So those 20 posts are actually WAY more important than you think. And you're making one-word posts that go against LITERALLY the very first rule of the forum. Soooooo if you're wondering why the staff and members are reacting negatively to your posts, that's probably why. (also, Internet shorthand that's passable in text messages and Facebook are generally frowned upon. It's understandable on a flip-phone number-pad keyboard when you've gotta fire texts back at your pal ASAP, but...odds are you're sitting in front of a keyboard, with more than a few minutes to browse the forum. With that said, PLEASE put a little more effort into your posts. I did) |
