Software to make animations - daffy82 - 02-15-2016
Hallo guys.
Im wondering which software you use to animate your gifs. I want to create some animated gifs. I would normally use photoshop for this but I dont know if theres other software that handles sprites better?

GIMP works pretty well, and it's pretty easy to learn, too.

I am also thinking sequenced layers in AE would be good?

In GIMP, you just import all the frames as layers, then export as a animated GIF you can customize pretty easily.

I use paid GraphicsGale for animation, but i am sure there are free options out there.

Thanks I will have a look at it... Can it handle Sprite sheets and automate the animation?
