The Mario model I'm using is from Mario & Sonic at the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games

I need to know how to change the skeleton to the model to something like this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yWZxH2qSWu0
Ive looked at some guides but they aren't very clear. Ive spent a lot of time trying to figure this out but to no avail..
