Extracting DAT files (Nintendo DS) - Davy Jones - 09-05-2016 I just thought I give it a shot. Well, I used the tool DSLazy to unpack the ROM from Black Sigil: Blade of the Exiled: https://mega.nz/#!5JYBXSCL!x2CptvgzWJTG6bgkcDdqK1nVkbn6o1kZmGDwa6fAhrk (these are the extracted files, 8MB) Turns out, the files with the sprites are all DAT files. I already tried TiledGGD to extract something out of them, but I only had success with a few ones (overworld hud, battle interface). Maybe someone else can give it a try? I'm mainly interested in the character sprites. If you're not sure what Black Sigil is, I already ripped several backgrounds from it: http://www.spriters-resource.com/ds/blacksigilbladeoftheexiled/ |
