How would I go about ripping from Jimmy Neutron PC? - VGDCKeroro - 03-09-2017 The several attempts I've made with Ninjaripper have all failed. DragonRipper only rips .wav files. I've been able to find some string data in some of the files. Found this when trying to import .ASE files found bundled python: E:\Blendy\BLENDE~1.53-\2.53\python *** ASE Scene Importer v0.03 *** Loading C:\Program Files (x86)\THQ\Jimmy Neutron\Jimmy Neutron vs. Jimmy Negatro n\ase\giantcarlkong.ASE Success. *** ASE Scene Importer v0.03 *** Loading C:\Program Files (x86)\THQ\Jimmy Neutron\Jimmy Neutron vs. Jimmy Negatro n\ase\cindstop.ASE ERROR: readGeomObject encountered unexpected token *MESH_ANIMATION on line 4168 of file C:\Program Files (x86)\THQ\Jimmy Neutron\Jimmy Neutron vs. Jimmy Negatro n\ase\cindstop.ASE Traceback (most recent call last): File "E:\Blendy\BLENDE~1.53-\2.53\scripts\io\import_ase.py", line 595, in exec ute applyData(model, self.properties.ASE_SCALE) File "E:\Blendy\BLENDE~1.53-\2.53\scripts\io\import_ase.py", line 513, in appl yData for x in model.materials: AttributeError: 'NoneType' object has no attribute 'materials' One of Carl's model works. Thanks! RE: How would I go about ripping from Jimmy Neutron PC? - VGDCKeroro - 03-09-2017 The models are hiding somewhere. The folders in the disk seem to be either for an earlier version or a jape. Neither Neutron's or Negatron's model are in the ASE folder, and I'm assuming the level models are hiding likewise. RE: How would I go about ripping from Jimmy Neutron PC? - VGDCKeroro - 03-11-2017 Interesting bit of data, the .ASE models are actually uncompressed compiles from 3DS Max. Here's Carl. Also I was wrong about the files, they are in fact the ones used in the folders. Horribly horribly wrong. Negatron loads fine even with the replaced .ASE file in Neutron1, so I'm not sure where the files for them are. Lastly, I believe I have located where the level models are. They're in the omt folder, and I think they're compressed or at least hidden in another file. Here's "level1.omt" If anyone recognizes what model file this is please tell me. Here's the strings to the .exe files https://transfer.sh/k5ZTU/neutronstrings.txt https://transfer.sh/vV55N/negastrings.txt Lastly, here's an .omt of a .wav file for you all for reference. raw file versions https://transfer.sh/U0CEs/level1.omt https://transfer.sh/LJlJ9/musicmidway.omt https://transfer.sh/jteil/musicmidway-omt-0000000001.wav Found a quote from someone on the tcrf board "The file format is extremely simple. It starts with a fourcc ("OMF2") and a 32-bit big-endian integer that indicates the address of the file table. The file table includes file names, start addresses, and file lengths. It should be very easy to write an extractor tool, but unfortunately I don't have access to my development environment right now." RE: How would I go about ripping from Jimmy Neutron PC? - VGDCKeroro - 03-12-2017 Alright, found something on QuickBMS that exports the files. However, they end up not having extensions. Here's the file for the swingset. https://transfer.sh/oi5r0/swing RE: How would I go about ripping from Jimmy Neutron PC? - chis797 - 03-24-2017 w you found RE: How would I go about ripping from Jimmy Neutron PC? - AbsurdBartholomew - 06-04-2017 The disc folders are probably from the original game for the PC. I've never been able to find any other models besides the .ASE models, though. |
