Ripping 3ds game contents - videofindersTV - 06-13-2017 Hi! I was wondering whether I could extract the folders and files in the .3ds rom without having to follow complicated instructions (having it be simple, basically). All of the tutorials online are either outdated or don't work. They're also hard to come by. RE: Ripping 3ds game contents - Pingus! - 06-13-2017 Finding decrypted rom links aren't terrible. I forget where but there's a tool that allows dumping of .3ds decrypted roms. If i find it, I'll upload it here RE: Ripping 3ds game contents - trainboy2019 - 07-29-2017 https://github.com/ihaveamac/3DS-rom-tools/wiki/Extract-a-game-or-application-in-.3ds-or-.cci-format RE: Ripping 3ds game contents - A Blob - 07-30-2017 https://gbatemp.net/threads/release-3ds-rom-tools-gui.396785/ All you have to do with 3DS Rom Tools is select the .3ds rom, press "Extract RomFS" and then "Unpack RomFS". I'm actually surprised that you already have the .3ds file. I normally have a .cia and need to change it to a .3ds first with a converter or just get the RomFS folder directly on 3DS with Luma 8 and Godmode9. RE: Ripping 3ds game contents - videofindersTV - 08-08-2017 Thanks for the suggestions, but I found out another way to do it via a homebrewed 3DS. https://github.com/citra-emu/citra/wiki/Dumping-Installed-Titles https://github.com/citra-emu/citra/wiki/Dumping-Game-Cartridges Here's the links on how to do them (in case anyone comes across this thread with the same problem). |
