Hex editing for TVGR purposes - Silversea - 09-06-2017 Hi all, The recent GBA games I'm trying to rip from have been hellish because of the game difficulty. The player is usually dead before I can rip a fraction of the enemy sprites, and it is taking hours just to get 5 frames. I need to find a way to modify the player HP stat, which I take it requires editing hex values. I've been attempting this since April and I've made no progress at all. I need an emulator that both supports GBA games and allows editing of hex values, or just any ideas/advice on how to go about this? It is going to be impossible to gather the sprites otherwise. I can't find any references or documentation about this at all, which seems absurd. I can't be the only person who has wanted to edit values in a GBA game. RE: Hex editing for TVGR purposes - Silversea - 09-06-2017 Turns out there ARE hex instructions for some of these obscure GBA games, wow. Ok, I guess this thread is now pointless |
