Welp, here I am! - Nooga - 09-26-2017 Hello, VG Resource! My name is Nooga and I'm new to ripping, but when I got an undying determination to rip Lightseekers assets, I decided I'd finally join! I like to play video games and draw stuff, though ripping Unity games is giving me a bit of a high right now. Thanks for having me, and hopefully I'll be of some value to this community! BTW, where do I go to submit? I've got a lot of Lightseekers textures that are ready to be uploaded (models aren't far off but I need someone to flip the UVs) and I'd love to see them on the site! RE: Welp, here I am! - Kendotlibero - 09-27-2017 welcome buddy, there's a guide on how to submit here https://wiki.vg-resource.com/wiki/How_To_Submit/The_Spriters_Resource RE: Welp, here I am! - Nooga - 09-28-2017 Ah, thank you! Strangely, I can't seem to login on the main site? I "successfully" login, but when I'm sent back to the site I came from, it still says I'm a guest? What could I be doing wrong? I have NoScript but all the scripts are allowed. RE: Welp, here I am! - Vipershark - 09-28-2017 Is the "Remember Me" box checked? If so, and you're still having problems, try clearing your cookies and trying again. RE: Welp, here I am! - Kosheh - 09-28-2017 Also, clear your cache. It sounds like cookies and whatnot are being wonky. This sometimes happens when some behind-the-scenes security updates and it might've been a while since the last time you've logged in (which oddly enough, for you, is...never?) RE: Welp, here I am! - Petie - 09-28-2017 Ad blockers also tend to interfere with the login script as well so if you're running one (and you likely are if you're running NoScript), that's another place to check. RE: Welp, here I am! - Nooga - 09-28-2017 It was a cookie problem it turns out. I have to have accept cookies set to "always" in Firefox in order to login. RE: Welp, here I am! - Petie - 09-28-2017 That would do it. The login script technically makes use of "third-party" cookies. We control all of the domains involved but since it has to set the login cookie for 5 domains at once, more restrictive browser settings can sometimes prevent that from happening. |
