Now, for something completely different: - Omegakyogre - 12-18-2008 Workin' on a PA thing. RE: Now, for something completely different: - Perigi - 12-18-2008 That landscape is awsome, please continue RE: Now, for something completely different: - Asuran - 12-18-2008 Nice. What's that dome-like thing behind the water. I never could texture mountains but it seems you've got it down. RE: Now, for something completely different: - Gors - 12-18-2008 I think the textures/shape are good, but I don't know... is it supposed to look so bright? And what's the sprite doing? And what's the sprite doing? Yeah, I'm trying to make it low contrast and center it around an unsaturated blue/white spectrum. And, the sprite is supposed to be holding his jaw, mainly with his thumb and index finger, in thought. I've been editing and editing it, trying to make it look better, but I just can't seem to do it. I believe it would be best to either A- remove the sprite entirely (from the picture, that is), or B- re-sprite his head without his hand and add his hand back from scratch. I'll probably do both. Quote:Nice. What's that dome-like thing behind the water. During the sketch phase, it was supposed to be a mountain-- but because I had to use the mouse to draw, it wound up horribly misshapen, along with the mountain behind it. When I was cleaning up the outlines, it looked like a dome with a curved, sharp cover, so I outlined it rather spontaneously. I never got around to removing it, so there it stayed... And: The mountain on the left took forever. I'm just glad I did it so I know how to do it from here on out. RE: Now, for something completely different: - Omegakyogre - 12-19-2008 Middle mountain should be done. I also tried to re-do the sprite's hand to make it a bit clearer. Hmm... RE: Now, for something completely different: - Omegakyogre - 01-07-2009 The picture should be about finished now, if anyone's interested. Unless there're any glaring flaws, I'll probably move on to finish ripping Marx/ spriting Gooey. Picture on the right is an example of an assembled version. Comments? Love? Hate? RE: Now, for something completely different: - HylianFox - 01-07-2009 Looks like something you'd see in Kirby Canvas Curse ^^ RE: Now, for something completely different: - Wes - 01-07-2009 I think the whole thing needs more contrast. RE: Now, for something completely different: - Omegakyogre - 01-07-2009 Darkened and upped contrast. I was looking at the thing with 8x zoom, so I suppose I didn't notice the lack of contrast back at 1x. RE: Now, for something completely different: - Codestar - 01-07-2009 Needs more darker tones in it. Do you mean changing the overall color (read: brightness) like that last change, or spriting another shade in darker areas? |
