RE: Banjo-Kazooie Custom Mumbo Jumbo - Filler - 01-14-2018 Possible T-pose? It's actually pretty decent from what I can see. I'd also suggest to add a normal/bump map. Either bake it in the editor you use, or make one manually with an image editing software. As for the feathers on his head, you can possibly get away with having a 3D stem, and the strands of feather being a texture, or a flat polygon. RE: Banjo-Kazooie Custom Mumbo Jumbo - Filler - 01-17-2018 There appears to be a texture seam on his pants-thing, but that can be passed out if you use a detail map or something. My only gripe is the feathers, they look more like seaweed of sorts. Here's a reference from Mumbo's Tooie model for the feathers. And here's a reference for the feather texture. You can probably just get away with tracing it with 3D planes with a simple texture. Also, note how each feather is curved, and placed a tad differently. It provides a small sense of asymmetry while not hurting the overall design, and it generates a more organic look without harming the polycount. Edit: Dunno if it's because of the view, but it seems like Mumbo is a tad to tall. Nice work. |
