Can i use same color difference for other colors? ^ Original from Original from SPRITING DICTIONARY (and resources), recolored blue Sonic ^ recolored blue Sonic with excel table as help, with color differences. Is this wrong or is it right? RE: Have a Question - Paraemon - 04-13-2018 Oh hey, it's the SegaSonic Bros! The dictionary, as I recall, says that recoloring is one of the most pointless things to do for spriting. That being said, using the Excel table to plot the shifts in palette seems like a good way to record the data for later use, but at the end of the day, it's just for recoloring. As for using it for other colors, I doubt it'll be as effectual, each color works differently, so they need to be tested on trial and error. |
