Hi All,
I'm new to this forum so I don't know if I'm on the right place to ask my question, sorry if I am wrong.
I'm plannig to create a game that I will possibly post on an app store (google play store), and I was wondering if it is legal to use some of mario sprites to create it. the game will be totally different from the super mario game, these are the sprites that I'm planning to use:
Q2) Are all the sprites that are on this website legal for commercial use?

Nope, it's impossible to use any of these ripped sprites/models in commercial projects. You may get a Cease and Desist from the copyright holder and even legal pursuit.

Do you know if the sprites available on this website are free for commercial use? if not do you know other website were the sprites are free?

The sprites found on this site are NOT for commercial use in any way, shape, or form, unless given explicit permission from the original creator of the sprites (not the ripper).

Short answer: No
Long answer: Each and every ripped sprite is intellectual property of various companies, like Nintendo, Capcom, Konami, etc. To use them in a commercial purposes welcomes a risk of severe legal repercussions.
My suggestion would be to build your own sprites for your game. Best of luck to you.
