as far as i understand the submissions are being looked at in order from oldest to newest(if not then forget what i said). would it be possible to have an option that shows you a list of all currently pending submissions to see where are your submissions currently in the queue? i don't mind waiting for my models to be approved but just sitting there having absolutely no idea when it's gonna be your turn is also not the best thing.

They are typically reviewed oldest to newest but that's not a hard rule. The queue is sorted first by whether or not icons were provided and then by submission date but staff is free to look at things in any order they want. The total number of pending submissions is displayed on the stats page and should be sufficient to get an idea of how backed up things are. Models, in particular, take exceptionally long to review so you should expect a significant wait there.
