Ripping Android Games (.APK)? - 8foldhero - 02-15-2020
hey! so, i don't have much extracting experience aside from fortnite and overwatch which had already had a very established community, and very straight foward copy/paste tutorials
i have been trying to extract Marvel Super War, i tried using NinjaRipper but through this route i have to use NOX, which wouldn't install the .APK properly
i have also heard of renaming the .APK to .ZIP and just extracting. and though this worked i'm not sure how to extract the models and textures out after that.
i was wondering, is there a good, more foolproof way to extract it? it feels like i'm messing it up each step of the way
this is the website i downloaded the .APK from (it's only out in a few select countries right now)

You can open APK files with a program like Winrar by simply dragging the APK into Winrar

rename it from _____.apk to _______.zip

It's as simple as just typing "zip" where "apk" is in the filename. Then you can extract as normal.

every mobile game will have 3d models inside it? I'm trying to get the cats models from Gabbys dollhouse to print for my kid, I extracted everything just by changing them to .zip, inside there are png files and inside animator folder has fbx files but they open wuth showing anything... can anyone help me plz!?
