Ripping 2D assets from the Nintendo Switch Dragon Quest titles - Topaz Light - 07-03-2020 First of all, if this has already been done, feel free to just point me to where, but I've been looking for these for a while now. Specifically, what I'm after is... Enemy sprites and 2D battle backgrounds from the Switch ports of Dragon Quests I, II, and III, as well as Dragon Quest XI S's 2D mode. "Overworld" sprites from Dragon Quest XI S's 2D mode. Ideally tilesets, but more broadly just the graphics for the areas themselves depending on how they're stored, also from Dragon Quest XI S's 2D mode. If they exist in 2D form, spell and attack animation assets from all four games would also be nice to have! I actually own all four games myself on my Switch, but I don't know how to actually locate the ROM files, crack them open, and pluck out what I'm looking for. Have these games not have their assets extracted simply due to a lack of interest, or is there something about how the graphics are stored that makes them harder to get at than usual? Any help would be appreciated, and I'd be happy to upload whatever I get to the site, too!
