V.Smile Ripping Project - teh_supar_hackr - 08-28-2020 I've been planing this since I first got emulation, and sprite ripping down for the console, and that is ripping at least one sprite from every V.Smile game released. For this I'm not counting revisions that changes sprites like Alphabet Park won't be shown on the list twice because of it having two different versions, with different designs for things like characters. Since the V.Smile Motion, and OG V.Smile are cross compatible with each other, I feel like they can be put on the same console, just with a (Motion) added on the end, while V.Smile Baby games can only be played on that console, and not any other V.Smile consoles despite having the same pin out, so the few on that console won't be counted here ether. So far I've ripped some sheets for Alphabet Park Adventure, and am working on the level maps for the maze stage in Toy Story 2. If you need help with sprite ripping with a tile viewer, someone on a thread I asked on this forum helped me with that which can be seen here. Below is a list of games I gathered for both consoles, and if it's on the Motion will have in perentecies saying it's on the console too, or is only on the Motion. This list can also be useful to know which games haven't been dumped yet. I have a few of these such as PC Pal Island that I can make an adapter for the Retrode to dump these V.Smile games. If any of the games here that does'int have that chip icon to the right of the game's name actually does have a confirmed dump out there, respond to this post saying that it exists, while NOT linking to the rom itself, just tell me if the dump exists, and I'll do some research and see for myself. BTW the list itself is just text, and could'int use those useful icons I set for each entry because of this forum's image limit of 100 per post. If you want to view the list with the icons, you have to go here. is a link to the console page for the V.Smile, and below are the sheets I've contributed so far. It will be updated as I upload more over time. The Wikipedia article that was the best reference, with list of games. |
