Quick question for a future project - Domobot - 08-30-2020 I may be looking into ripping from a particular PSP game (or two ) in the future. The method I'm using dumps 2d images from memory (along with a ton of near-empty images I don't need...), but the sprites (and effects, especially) are a lot larger and more complex than what I've been working on previously. There's also transparency involved in some cases... Would it be alright for me to submit these as a zip file rather than organizing them into a sheet? Some are semi-organized on their own, but not all. Example of what I'm dealing with included. RE: Quick question for a future project - DogToon64 - 08-30-2020 You'll have to sort them out, then you can submit them. Otherwise, they'll get rejected. It's similar reasons to ripping sprites from Cuphead. They get dumped just like the images that you got in the attached files, then you sort them all. Hope this helps! RE: Quick question for a future project - Domobot - 08-30-2020 I'll probably end up doing that regardless of the official word. The method I'm using to rip these spits out those effect sheets in multiple colors and, on looking into it further, it's difficult to figure out exactly what's being used. I'll probably end up skipping them... leaving the robots on their own, which can be sheeted with some effort, but the segmented cut-ins (see Crowe exploded there) will be a bit tougher to organize. |
