Tutorial: How to rip sprites from Plants vs. Zombie 2 - collinsisyou - 11-07-2020

Here's a little tutorial I made to help you rip sprites from Plants vs. Zombies 2 and the Chinese version.

Tool needed:
  • An OBB (Android) or an RSB (IOS)
  • PvZ2Tool
And with that let's get into it
  • Step 1:In PvZ2Tool go to the "Extract & Pack"
  • Step 2:Click on "Browse" button on the "Select File" Area
  • Step 3:Click on your OBB or RSB
  • Step 4:Go to "Options" and make sure the "Flip Texture" option is set to ETC1+A
  • Step 4:Then hit start when you have it ready your sprite sheets will be put in the "Assets" folder of the same name as the OBB and or the RSB
Now you should have every sprite sheet in the game

NOTES: The Chinese version of PvZ2 can only be ripped from an RSB

You know if you can use PvZ2Tool on other android games? I have two obb files I extracted, but the assets like png or jpg isn't readable, so I'm wondering if I have to "decrypt" or extract these files differently.

PvZ2Tool only works on PvZ2 and PvZ2C (The Chinese versions)

Yeah it gets picked up as a virus on google drive and mega for some reason but I can tell you it is not
