Especially regarding the sound effects and character voices? Is this game really that overlooked?

Personally, I think it's fun. Me and my friend play it every once in a while. Anyway, I think the reason is that nobody really uses a ton of sound effects from that game. Of course however, you can always rip the files from the game using a "Homebrewed" Wii and Clean Rip. If you don't have a Wii, then you're out of luck for now.
