Megaman X Command Mission Skeletons - Supergamingfan1 - 03-27-2022 i've been looking into Megaman X Command Mission's files, and so far i mostly understand how the model format works, and part of how the skeleton works. but i've run into one thing that's getting in the way of fully rigged ripping (https://ibb.co/w6k1nDv), and that's that the skeleton randomly decides to change how the bone positions work. looking directly at the file data, i see this: (https://ibb.co/NrFFBNz), bone 18 is basically just the inverse of bone 17, but the rigging says otherwise, being the expected weights on the elbow directly below bone 17. here's a link to some files, some bt templates i wrote for the files, and a noesis script i'm writing, just in case somebody with more experience might be able to point me in the right direction (https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1a_ppY1Jo4MvPoznSzeBGvE09m9rRWnv0?usp=sharing). also if i'm just reinventing the wheel here, please let me know. i just figured that, since all the rips on the game page are unrigged, and there's no discussion of this game's model format that i could find, i might as well reverse it myself and turn it into a noesis script. |
