LucasFilm Product Assets - CPT Kaibyo - 04-23-2022 So most old PC games I've ever installed just had... Literally everything in there. All the models, sounds, everything, ready for plucking and modding. I've noticed Star Wars: Pit Droids is actually quite heavily encoded for such an old PC game. I think it could be quite rewarding to dig around in there and see just what's going on under the hood, if anyone's feeling dry on ideas. If anyone decides to do it, or already has, I'd really appreciate it if you could please hook me up with a Pit Droid model and/or some Pit Droid sound effects. Anyway, I'm not much of a ripper, I'm just surprised by how well-protected such an old game is and wondered if anyone else found it interesting. Blip bloop. |
