Suburbs - Puppeh - 05-28-2008 Think about a mediocre neighborhood. Not too poor, not too rich. Now think about things that might be in that neighborhood. Houses, cars, trees, people, and so on. What I'm doing here is building a side-scrolling suburban neighboorhood starting with the most basic ingridient: people. I added the tree in there just so I don't have to do it later. RE: Suburbs - mozzy - 05-28-2008 While these aren't bad at all, its just that these are horribly generic :/ You need to develop a style that you can do easily but at the same time looks good. Just look through Pixeljoint.com, Deviantart or other places for inspiration if you need it. You might have to scrap and start over, but really if you try hard enough on it its worth it.
