GreenCat's Gene Croc Gallery - Game Dev - GreenCat - 06-13-2023 Hello there good people of The VG Resource forums  , I am GreenCat and I started a game development team by the name of Team Dreamfall (comprised of me, Explosions Central and Holy Guaca (I guess he forgot mole  ) and we are currently working on a game called Gene Croc - Cold-blooded detective ( You see its a pun because the character is an alligator.  Yes I know his last name is croc and he's supposedly an alligator). I do pretty much all of the sprites for the game and I will share my progress here on these forums as well as on my channel and when the game is complete I will personally post the sprites on The Spriters Resource (If it is ever complete (hopefully it is)) Anyways the game is a beat-em-up style game but it has stealth and vampire survival mechanics. Steal mechanics being that you will be able to hide from enemies behind objects and other such mechanics such as stealth takedowns and an alert system. And the vampire survival mechanics being you will get an upgrade after either reaching a certain point in a stage or getting enough points (we haven't decided yet   ).  But anyways here's a slight teaser of what's to come and check back regularly if you want to see my progress (Don't mind if I miss a couple of days I'm slightly lazy.  ). I'm doing art again today and might make multiple posts so this is the first! ( I just started and didn't get much done yet) So here is the finished hat  i don't know why but it feels like the most hat-like hat I've ever seen I also did our team's logo In two different colors, let me know which one you like most Well that's all for now I might post again today but that's up to the universe to decide  . I'm sorry I haven't posted in a while, my motivation for art had run dry for a bit  , but yesterday I felt like doing some art again and I managed to complete Gene in all his glory !  And here he is!  - Superior look of superiority Give me your feedback! Personally, I think he is perfect but he is my creation and therefore I am biased   .
