[Tutorial] Ripping Mii Head Models from the Wii - lelumini - 07-10-2023

Ripping Mii Heads

You will need
NinjaRipper 1.7.1 (recommended version)
Noesis
Dolphin emulator 3.0 (recommended version)
An working ROM of the Mii Channel
Noesis NinjaRipper Addon

How to rip the Head models
Open NinjaRipper and you will see an form called EXE click the three dots icon, select the Dolphin Emulator EXE file
After that, You will see another form that says Dir in the OUTPUT category click the three dots icon, create/select a folder that you want to save the models in.
Click Run and open the Mii Channel Wad file.

Create an Mii.

when you have created the Mii, go to the NinjaRipper Window and click Settings. you will see the ripping keys, that is what you need to press when you are in the dolphin window.

Converting the Models With Noesis
go to the folder you selected as the output folder, you will see a folder inside the output folder called _NinjaRipper open that folder,

you will see something like 2023.07.03_17.46.32_Dolphin.exe when you open that folder and the folder inside it you will see a bunch of .rip and .dds files

Double-Click into a file to open it, the head meshes usually start at Mesh_0003. Right-Click into the mesh file and click export and click export in the export media window.
repeat the process multiple times to different mesh files and use your preferred 3D model software to view the assets you exported.
