How to unpack/extract Unreal Engine .PAK files from DreamWorks All-Star Kart Racing? - land0n12343 - 11-03-2023 I've dumped the Switch version of DreamWorks All-Star Kart Racing and I need to rip the Unreal Engine .PAK files because they include the models, I've used many tools, and am unknowledgeable in Unreal Engine model extraction/converting, if anyone would help this would be a big help! RE: How to unpack/extract Unreal Engine .PAK files from DreamWorks All-Star Kart Racing? - saratogaroad - 11-05-2023 The only place to start would be with UModel. Download it, run it, and where it says "Path to Game Files", point it at wherever you have the .pak files. if it asks you for the version of UE, this game is running on 4.27 and there's a thread on the Gildor Forum for it already. Now, once you've got the .paks open in UModel, you're going to have to start sorting through the files to find what you want. I'm not sure/haven't seen how this game file trees its stuff, but it can help to select "flat view", sort by size, and then double click on each listing until you find what you're looking for. Once you've found what you want, select "Export" at the bottom; I would highly suggest not touching the settings it comes with, as you can convert .psk to something else by using Noesis. That should get you started. Honestly extraction of Unreal Engine is pretty simple, just...quite tedious. Happy ripping! |
