DKC Trilogy GBA world maps - christopherparaujo89 - 03-06-2024

I wanted to send all the maps to this site, but unfortunately I only managed to do half of them. In order for me to get them completely, I would need a special program or a tutorial.

See the result if I upload it to The Spriters-Resource.

Maybe this helps:

Decompression with NLZ-GBA Advance
https://www.romhacking.net/utilities/529/

And instead of Tile Molester v.0.16, use Tile Molester Mod v.0.19 to view the decompressed files:
https://www.romhacking.net/utilities/991/

I tried using the programs you recommended, but they don't seem to work on Windows 11. I can't find the Tile Molester application to open.

RE: DKC Trilogy GBA world maps - Barack Obama - 03-06-2024

You need an installed java runtime environment to start Tile Molester Mod.

You can get either this:
https://adoptium.net/temurin/releases/

Or this:

I don't know what's going on, but it seems that none of these programs are of good quality on Windows 11. Look the examples:

*NLZ-GBA Advance

*Tile Molester

RE: DKC Trilogy GBA world maps - Barack Obama - 03-07-2024

It was worth a try, I'm also still learning how to use Tile Molester.

If the tools support the game, the results are usually very good:
https://www.spriters-resource.com/ds_dsi/magicalstarsign/
https://www.spriters-resource.com/game_boy_advance/magicalvacationjpn/

Windows 11 doesn't have anything to do with it, btw. Tools run fine on all Windows versions down to XP and Java is always needed for Tile Molester.

Edit:
LZ77Restructor 2 (decompressor)
https://www.romhacking.net/utilities/973/
Nintendo DS/GBA Compressors by Cue:
https://www.romhacking.net/utilities/826/

It's always worth trying to get results.

It's hard for me. The LZ77Restructor is same to NLZ-GBA Advance & Tile Molester. And no app of Nintendo DS/GBA Compressors wants to open. There has to be a special component for everything to work like in other Windows.

GBA Graphics Editor / GBAGE Tutorial:
https://tutorial.feuniverse.us/gfx/gbage

Download:
https://www.hackromtools.info/gba-graphics-editor/

It can take some time until you find the tool that enables you to rip the stuff you want.
Btw if an app / program / tool doesn't work for you, right click on the .EXE and try compatibility options for older Windows versions.
Also make sure that you're the administrator.

Could you give a link to a video to follow the instructions for this program you sent?

If there's nothing on Youtube, then I have no idea.
I just searched for tile editors / decompressor tools and posted them here, in hopes they would be useful.
