Game Boy Multiplayer Content Ripping Help - Mr. L - 05-28-2024 I've recently started ripping sprites from various Double Dragon games, as I like to do on occasion. But I've run into a problem when it comes to the multiplayer content of the game boy games: try as I might, I can't seem to emulate link cable functionality. Visualboy doesn't recognize connectivity even with the VBAlink add-on, and I can't get mGBA to load into multiplayer for more than a fraction of a second - not even long enough for the assets to load in most cases, before it resets. I've looked at various instructions online, I've tried creating copies of the roms so that they don't detect as the exact same cartridge to the emulators, etc. Nothing seems to work. Does anyone have any advice? RE: Game Boy Multiplayer Content Ripping Help - Samevi - 06-01-2024 Might have to do with save data? Make sure your emulators are storing their saves in different locations. If it's trying to read/write to the same file from two different emulators it may cause crashes. |
