How to rip sounds from Monster Hunter World (Guide) - ᴸᵃᶤᶰ - 07-21-2024

This is a guide on how you can rip them, it's a job for 3 or 5 people, way too many files  Unsure Someone may want to try it in the future, and since there's no guides on reddit or such  Embarassed

5k unamed files is something else...

What would have to be done;
1. At least two people willing to extract each .nbnk and placing them in folders without accidentaly overwriting (cuz WWiseUI overwrite files with the same name e.g "1, 2, 3, 4, etc") - that's why I have folders with numbers.
2. One for converting and renaming every extracted wem accordingly (many sounds wouldn't be reconizable for an average player like chains, eviroment, armor, breaking and hit sounds or random animal sounds) - all sounds have an actual name, but denuvo and encryption fucked hide it, it's now somewhere in the code.

Also included an detail about some nbnk files storing the same audio files here:

This might be due to very complex compression methods used in the game. In any case, if you from the future find them, you can just keep them in a separated folder and come back later instead of risking skipping SFX by accident.
