What is a good software to make custom M&L Dream Team sprites? - Mr. L The Green Thunder - 11-11-2024 Alright I apologize for posting this twice, and if it's on the wrong channel, it's because I have trouble finding a help channel. What's a good software to make custom Mario & Luigi Dream Team sprites? I'm so bored and I want to make what Crazee Dayzees and Koopatrols look like in Dream Team. I also posted it twice because 1 week later I still didn't get any answers but I still get views somehow. Please, I'm so bored. People are making custom sprites in the Mario & Luigi series and I wanna join it too. I want to make Crazee Dayzees and Koopatrols into Dream Team. RE: What is a good software to make custom M&L Dream Team sprites? - ILikeSonic80904SR - 11-11-2024 yeah, I'm not too sure if I can help too much. All I know is that 3DS games primarily use Texture2D files for their sprites and textures, so maybe you can find a lead from that? Anyhow, I do know an alternative; however it only works with the DS. There's a cool program called Tinke that allows for hacking and changing graphics of DS games, so maybe you could do Bowser's Inside Story or Partners in Time. However, if you're REALLY keen on imitating Dream Team, why not get a pixel art drawing tool like Aseprite or Piskel? I mean, all you need to do is research how 3DS graphics work, immitate the characters into the new style, look at sprites for existing characters online if you need too, and then just draw! (TIP: If you're using Aseprite, you gotta pay for it. However, there's a free version, but it ditches the saving. A tip I like to use is to copy and paste the graphics from Aseprite once you're done or you need a backup into paint3D or paint.net, and save the file from there.) For Dream Team, how much should the width and height of the drawing be? I know it should be that big but I want the perfect drawing size. |
