I haven't found anything very clear on the internet. You can extract sprites from Monogame games like Stardew Valley using tools like XNB Extract to convert .xnb files (used for assets) into PNGs. For Stardew Valley, most sprites are in the Content folder inside .xnb files. Try "XNB Node" or "XNB Extractor" to unpack them. If the game uses raw PNGs, check the install directory. For more complex cases, tools like dnSpy can help decompile the game and locate asset-loading methods.
