Flying Eyebat sheet and GIF - MildConcussion - 03-03-2009

My first attempt at something animated, meant as an enemy for a shooter I'm working on with a friend.

Well. As far as concepts go, that one is a horribly overused one.

However, I must say, that it looks rather nice. The eye-veins could use some touching up though. It looks more like the eye is cracked. The animation? It's nice an' fluid.

As far as eye can see it looks pretty good.

The sprite itself isn't very good, but I don't know if thats the style or not. The veins seem too think and the iris is kind of blocky. The shading isn't the best it could be, either. But it is a very fluid animation. I envy your skills, I could never sprite wings flapping and have it flow so well.

Tof, I wasn't reall going for originality this time, I just wanted to make something from scratch, and it seemed like a fun design. I'll see what I can do about the eye veins. Thank you!

Goemar, er, thanks... *rolls eyes*

EpicWes, Ouch... Well, glad you liked the animation at least. All I did was copy the wings, lower the opacity and draw over them on a new layer four times. Nothing to it really!
