I think you should just take Bowser's shades and slightly shrink and edit them to fit the Troopas' style. I also don't really like the palette, but since it's taken from the other dark enemies, can't nitpick on that.

Thanks for your suggestion, but I was going for the dark minion Koopa instead.
Well I will, try doing the Dark Bowser pallete for this Koopa.

No, I meant shades as in those sunglasses. The palette fits in with the rest of them as it is.
