Kuji Jamma - Chdonga - 05-31-2008 He was a result of practicing shades. If I messed up with any characters' shadings please offer ways I could make them better. These guys are just Kuji Jamma and three enemies that I made with him. RE: Kuji Jamma - Maxpphire - 05-31-2008 They seem only two toned and if they are not then they are horribly pillow shaded and need more hue shifting. If they are then to add a bit more depth try more then just two shades. RE: Kuji Jamma - Chdonga - 05-31-2008 Lol, I'm not sure what pillow shading is but these sprites are like a year old and I just found them in my "unused items" folder. I was sure someone would say that though >.< but yeah, I can fix it. Just give me a couple of hours... RE: Kuji Jamma - Maxpphire - 05-31-2008 Pillow shading basically means that every shade or layer of colors on the sprite is the exact same shape as the one before hand. Usually the light reference is in the direct middle but in some cases like yours it isn't. Besides how is it a result of practicing shading if you said that they are over a year old? That doesn't make any sense. Don't come up excuses for shitty shading just listen to people's criticisms and try to get better as you go along. Also don't use the paint circle tool. It doesn't make perfect circles to the human eye. It does mathematically but not by perception. |
