Zelda MC custom-Epona - Mega_Virus - 04-16-2009 I need some ones help fixing the head of this epona horse I've been working on, if you would notice the head looks fine for when its standing up straight, but when I have its head down as if its graising on grass its head seems to big compared to its body, and something's wrong with its neck. I know to some it may seem normal but during gameplay its obvious so I uploaded a GM exe. for you guys to check out, remember when the game starts switch to epona without Link and have it stand for a little bit it will start graising, and Thanks. Epona Exam.. RE: Zelda MC custom - Previous - 04-16-2009 I guess the head is too big anways, as well as the neck is a tad too long. Also, while grazing, the head should be turned in an even larger angle, i'd say. If I made the neck any shorter it would look more like a dog than a horse cause I original had it like that from the beginning but I made it a tad longer, and the head if made smaller would lose its Minish Cap style look. Maybe if someone showed me an example I can work from that. RE: Zelda MC custom-Epona - Black Boo - 04-16-2009 Four Swords Adventures was in Minish Cap style, and that had an Epona, but oh well. The head does seem a little big, or the body could be too small. When you edit this, put a referance sprite of Link next to it. That should help. The head is a little smaller than Links head and with top view wich is what I'm kind of trying to accomplish the head is suppose to look a little bigger than the body because its closer to the screen. And I already know whats wrong with it, and it is that the head when it goes down it needs to be a little smaller, and have a slight angle of both top and bottom view. Besides you don't want to change the size of the head because Links head is already bigger than epona's head, and if I change the size of the body than it will be to big compared to the building in the game, infact it already has the height of houses already. If you play my little game you willl understand everything. RE: Zelda MC custom-Epona - Miles07 - 04-17-2009 FSA and TMC styles are NOT THE SAME. Just compare the Stalfos from both games. NOT THE SAME STYLE, obviously. The horse from FSA was not Epona, since it was made of the completely wrong colors. A TMC-style Epona would be nice to have, but the issue would be that it'd be mostly custom, since the TMC Epona rips contain only a small amount of useful sprites for such a project. On that subject, this shouldn't be in the "Project" board, but in the "Sprite Discussion" board. RE: Zelda MC custom-Epona - Black Boo - 04-17-2009 Compare the Links. They're the same style. But oh well. And about the this topic in the wrong location your right I'm new here so I happen to put it in the wrong subject sorry about that, and I hope it gets moved so it doesn't piss people off. I personally like the FSA Link more besides the sprites for FSA sprites has more of a better qualty to it with colour and all cause it comes from gamecube, but sprites for TMC are awesome. RE: Zelda MC custom-Epona - Miles07 - 04-18-2009 There are some spriting/animation differences between the FSA Link and the TMC Link. The only REAL comparisons are that TMC and FSA styles are similar, but they're mixed with ALttP elements, as well. Yeah, in order to do a full Epona moveset, you're gonna have to do a lot of heavy editing on those few sprites. RE: Zelda MC custom-Epona - S-Cpu - 04-18-2009 the reason that epona's head looks too big when eating is that the head blends directly into the neck, making it look like the back of the head. I suggest you add a little more shading at the end of the head.
