It's in 3D. So no, I doubt it. Curse of Monkey Island and Grim Fandango were designed to be console-friendly in their control scheme.

To be honest, i would even prefer a more stylish low poly or way more produced 3D models. as that teaser shown, the games looks quite... ugly.
and i am not claiming for a 2D sprite based nostalgiacharged version, but at least they could put way more effort. compared to Escape from Monkey Island, that looks like shit.
