Looking for a new style - Smash - 06-03-2009 Perhaps for pokemon (mostly), RPG's, ect... The general purpose isn't clear yet, but I felt like making something to base most of my stuff on these type of games. So far, this Has some pokemon and FF style in there, no outline, top lightsource, and bald guy is base to edit. Planning to make it 8-directional, walking and running, for now. Need C&C to continue RE: Looking for a new style - Raytheon - 06-04-2009 here this site should have a few styles to try: http://www.spriters-resource.com RE: Looking for a new style - LeleleleMAXIMUM - 06-04-2009 Wow, good job being an ass, Raytheon. It's a legitimate question. It's not even a request, the guy's asking for suggestions, ffs. Smash, what's wrong with what you have now? RE: Looking for a new style - Raytheon - 06-04-2009 i only read the title okay. C+C both legs are too straight and hiros legs bend and warp very weird ways arms are a bit too short and too straight make them hang loosely. if you wanna find a new style i recommend trying something similar to disgaea or something RE: Looking for a new style - Cobalt Blue - 06-04-2009 should stop using the FFT palette and actually use your own colors, for a start. as scary as that might sound. RE: Looking for a new style - Smash - 06-10-2009 Back You guys must get your share of noob sires a little too often here on this site.. It explains the general mood of your posts Anyway.. Down walking animation done, and some improvements RE: Looking for a new style - LeleleleMAXIMUM - 06-10-2009 Hair movement? Looks really smooth though. RE: Looking for a new style - Phantom Killah - 06-10-2009 Really dig that walking animation RE: Looking for a new style - Dazz - 06-11-2009 (06-10-2009, 09:08 PM)Mr. Buttbutt Wrote: Hair movement? Pretty much totally agree. RE: Looking for a new style - Cobalt Blue - 06-11-2009 thread title says "looking for a new style". i would ditch that pocket movement. its quite redundant since the thing is meant to be a pocket, not a bag. it doesnt have the mass nor the character moves his hips enought to show that movement. also, the character is quite stiff to be honest, the torso isnt really showing the feedback produced by the legs but rather feels more as if it was a piston. not to mention the knee-bendingless movement its basically the way FFT characters are animated. white<- used to up the mood of the post RE: Looking for a new style - Zac - 06-11-2009 The head's pespective seems to be off. You shold make the eyes look down (forward) to match the rest of the body. RE: Looking for a new style - Adam - 06-11-2009 Seems as if he doesn't pick his feet up as he walks, more like they're sliding. Nice and smooth, though. Keep it up. That's actually the reason I've been doing all this stuff, to get out of the fft style.. Not yet, it seems. :p Anyways, awesome crits so far, I might get back to this soon RE: Looking for a new style - Cobalt Blue - 06-13-2009 looking foward to see a character thats not a port to the FFT style. |
