I think you need to make things more readable, I can barely make out any details on the robot. I know it's a WIP, but the face is just a mess.
Small sprites are cool.

I think that Lagann's body is too small, but the legs and arms are fine.
Gurren Lagann looks great though so far.

drei- its exactly to scale with gurren lagann (same size as the head) and to simon.

Lovely so far. Gurren's glasses seem to be off-center, though.
I wonder how bored you'd have to be to tackle Chouginga at that scale...

Everything with boredom on the title just has to be good. I've got not crits so far.
Paint in vista may suck at first, but once you get used to it, it can easily surpass most spriting programs. It's the one I use these days, with the laptop mouse pad.
