They each look like textures of Cream's appearance from SADX, but recolored. this is exactly how they were inside the texture file. maybe sonic heroes's char style is copied from cream? all those little 8X8 colors around the eye are the skin & fur textures. SH2 had really high poly models, they could just have a texture for each color. RE: sonic heroes rips - Shadowth117 - 07-15-2009 Yeah he's right. For the characters, shading was done ingame which is why they didn't need large skin and fur textures. I'd guess this was also done so that the game would have more memory to render 3 characters with decent polygon counts at once. I'm not completely sure what you asked, but the character textures are stored in the \dvdroot\playmodel folder of the main directory. Here's what the extractor looks like. As you can see, Charmy's texture pack was labeled as "be.txd" and the textures inside it used the name bee. This is usually done so the developers don't have to write out his name for every one of his resources.
